Siu-yuen, Gordon Mr Fung is awarded the SBS in recognition of his long and exemplary service to the Government and the Hong Kong community, particularly for his loyal and dedicated service to the Force. Mr Fung retired as the Deputy Commissioner of the Force after serving 36 years with the Government.

Medal for Bravery (Bronze) (MBB)
Cheung Wah-yuk Mr Cheung, a Police Constable working in Tin Shui Wai Division, is awarded the MBB in recognition of the exemplary act of gallantry he displayed in an anti-burglary operation in Yuen Long on January 4, last year. As the suspect fled the scene, Mr Cheung at once gave chase and followed him into the bushes for fear that the suspect might disappear, despite the danger of pursuing a suspect on his own in rough terrain during the dark morning hours. He caught up with the suspect from behind but was met with violent struggle and chopper attack. Mr Cheung sustained serious injuries as the attack continued. He had no alternative but to fire at the suspect. Mr Cheung displayed courage, professionalism and determination during the operation despite danger.
