To encourage young people to learn more about the law of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, the annual "Love the Motherland, Learn the Law and Recreate Harmony" Tripartite Youth Legal Exchanges Week for 2013 was held in Hong Kong between September 8 and 11.  The China Law Society organised this weeklong event with its Secretary, Mr Chen Jiping, leading a 54-member delegation to pay a visit to Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung on September 11.  

 

Comprising students from eight universities on the Mainland, the delegation exchanged judicial viewpoints with the Commissioner.  Liaison Bureau also gave the delegates a general introduction of Hong Kong and the Force.

 

The China Law Society organised the event with the objective of offering law students on the Mainland an opportunity to visit and study the judicial, law enforcement and educational facilities in Hong Kong and Macao. In addition to the Force, the delegation also visited the Department of Justice, ICAC and the University of Hong Kong.
