With the arrangement made by Recruitment Division, more than 140 members of the Junior Police Call (JPC) and youth uniformed groups visited the Police College campus in Aberdeen on September 28 to get a better idea of police work and recruitment.

Participating in the visit were JPC Advanced Leaders and members of 13 youth uniformed groups. During the visit, they also attended a recruitment seminar and experience sharing session, in which Recruitment Division Superintendent Tam Nga-ching shared her police experience to give the youngsters a better understanding of the diversity and nature of police work.

The visit programme also offered a tour of training facilities, including the Drill Square and Tactical Training Complex, where the participants were briefed on the training programme for recruit police constables and probationary inspectors.

The Force is organising more recruitment activities, including career talks for the "Police Inspector Recruitment Express 2013", "Police Mentorship Programme" and "Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme" for the undergraduates of ten local universities and tertiary institutes.

The next "Police Recruitment Day cum Police Inspector Recruitment Express 2013" will be held at Police Headquarters on November 30. Interested party can obtain more information from the Police Public Page or Force Mobile Apps.
