Riding on the success of winning the 2013 Hong Kong Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award, the Force has also been named as one of the 2013 Asian MAKE Award winners, on account of its outstanding performance in Knowledge Management (KM) practices and implementation.

At the same time, an expert panel has short listed the Force as a Global MAKE Award finalist in recognition of its continuous efforts to build a knowledge-powered enterprise mandated to serve the community in a global context.

The MAKE Award is an annual competition organised by an independent KM organisation in Hong Kong, Asia and also globally to recognise the achievements made by outstanding enterprises and organisations in implementing corporate-wide KM programmes.

Force members' continuous contribution to and support of KM activities have helped the Force to earn the prestigious recognition, and the Force relies on them to further excel in this area of work.  Formations or officers wishing to further contribute to, know more about or comment on the Force KM, may contact the Research Centre under the Specialised Services Training Centre of Police College via either Superintendent Mark Mak (2860-5770/sp-rc@police.gov.hk) or Senior Knowledge Management Officer Jason Leung (2860-2399/skmo-rds-rc@police.gov.hk).
