Dear Sir,
I may not really know which division I should address to, either the transport unit or yours, but I would like to say a big thank to your team. And please help c.c. the staff you may know.
We were leaving the busy and crowded Peak as visitors at about 12:45 last Sunday. My friend, an overseas delegate of the KPMG, was walking impaired and she could hardly walk further to the basement to reach our private car. She was really tired at the Peak Tower and could only find the wall to lean on. It was your team at the roundabout to help release our car to drop by so that she could be relieved earlier. Your colleagues, no matter the supervisor or those managing the crowd, also helped her to get onto the car as she really could not do it herself.
I would like to say thanks to all of you. My friend has travelled a lot and she was deeply impressed of how good the policemen were, how helpful they were, how flexible the whole team could be. As a local Hong Kongese, I am proud of our good policemen.
Today, I have been learning that there are more angers triggered by the public towards those frontline policemen. Please don't take it personal and most of us, who did not go to the street, are the one supporting you. It is you all to keep this international city in good crowd control, it is you to let us know we can rely on when we encounter some difficulties on the street.
Again, please keep up, and big thanks from my friend.
Best regards,
Yan
