The 2nd Symposium on Drug Enforcement in Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao was held in Hong Kong between October 28 and 30.
 
Director of Crime and Security Lo Mung-hung officiated at the symposium, which was attended by a big party of attendants, including 15 senior drug enforcement officials led by Director General of the Narcotics Control Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, Mr Liu Yuejin, a five-person delegation led the Deputy Director of the Macao Judiciary Police, Mr Chau Wai Kuong, and 34 Force members led by Narcotics Bureau Chief Supertindent Tsang Cheung-tat. Officers from the three places met to discuss drug situation, trafficking trend, enforcement efforts and anti-money laundering measures. 
 
Guest speakers at the symposium included Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Dr Alain Sham, and the Chief Chemist of the Government Laboratory, Dr To Kwong-yuk.
