The Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories South (RCPO NTS) hosted a sharing session on the security of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Project on November 26 for better management of the project and engagement of the stakeholders concerned.

 

In the session, representatives from the project consultant, main contractor and security company explained the machines used, the materials stored and the security arrangements for various stages of the project, while RCPO NTS officers gave briefings on the related crime trend and the modus operandi and offered advice on security.

 

The session succeeded in not only providing the police districts concerned with a better understanding of the progress of the project, but also helping them formulate anti-crime strategies and patrols in the key areas. It also established a good communication channel between the police and the stakeholders for timely delivery of anti-crime information.
