The first ever Police Adventure Club (PAC) Adventure Challenge was held on October 26 in Sai Kung, attracting 32 teams, including those from Fire Services Department and Immigration Department.
The competition started in the morning at Pak Tam Chung and each team, comprising four players, competed in a series of challenges, including orienteering, mountaineering, assault course, swimming and canoeing. After overcoming these strenuous missions, the players took on a series of command task and an uphill run before reaching the final point at the PAC Campsite. Eventually, the teams from Police Tactical Unit Headquarters, Emergency Unit New Territories North and Marine Region captured the championships of Adventure, Challenge and Open events respectively.
Director of Operations Wong Chi-hung and PAC Honorary Vice-chairman, Mr Zai Tah-lam, presented prizes to the winners. Mr Wong was impressed with the participants' efforts and team spirit and hoped the event would continue in future.
