Jointly organised by Police Badminton Club and the Sports Unit for the first time for promoting the Integrated Approach to Physical Fitness and Health Management, the Inter-major Formation Badminton Competition took place in Police Officers' Club, Causeway Bay, on December 4, with over 110 players from 12 Major Formations competing for trophies and medals. At the conclusion of the event, the Guest of Honour, Acting Commissioner Lo Wai-chung, presented the trophies and medals.

 

Kowloon West Region clinched the title, followed by Marine Region as first runner-up and Kowloon East Region as second runner-up.
