The annual Cartwright's Cup Volleyball Competition was held on November 24 at Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) for disciplined services ladies volleyball teams to promote healthy lifestyle and sports exchange.

In the competition, Correctional Services Department, Fire Services Department, Customs and Excise Department and Immigration Department competed for the cup with two police teams.
 
After an exciting round of games, Immigration Department won the championship, followed by Customs and Excise Department as 1st runner-up. Police teams B and A captured the third and fourth places respectively.
 
Former Police Volleyball Club (PVC) Chairman, Kowloon East Regional Commander Mike Cartwright presented trophies to the winning teams.
 
Sports exchange in Zhongshan
 
A 25-member delegation from PVC participated in a sports exchange with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of the Zhongshan Institute from November 22 to 23.
 
Led by PVC Chairman, Senior Superintendent (SSP) Kwan Chui-ching, the delegation played three exciting matches with the university, winning all the matches with the efforts of both the men's and women's teams.
 
Off the pitch, the players of both sides had a good exchange of views on police work and campus life and made new friends.
 
Welcoming the delegation, University Vice-chancellor, Mr Lung Chitat, said the matches brought Force-University exchanges to a new dimension. In response, SSP Kwan said she was looking forward to more sports exchanges in future.
