New Territories South (NTS) Region complimented outstanding security personnel and property management companies at its Best Security Personnel Awards 2012-2013 Presentation Ceremony in Tsuen Wan Town Hall on December 5.

 

NTS received a record number of 914 nominations of security personnel from owners' corporations, property management companies and security companies. Subsequently a selection Board commended 459 of the nominees. Among the commended nominees, 16 were presented with the highest "Best Security Personnel Award" in the form of a medal for their professionalism. The awardees may wear the medal on their uniforms while on duty.

 

Meanwhile, five property management companies were presented with letters of appreciation for assisting police in crime prevention campaigns.

 

Officiating at the ceremony, NTS Regional Commander Lau Chi-wai praised the awardees for their exemplary performances and encouraged them to keep up their professionalism and to continue to work with police in combatting crimes.
