Senior Superintendent Yuen Yuk-kin and Superintendent Ho Kin-wah led a delegation of two Chief Inspectors and six Senior Inspectors to visit the Police Academy of the Netherlands from November 15 to 21 for a comparative study on crime investigation training.

 

The academy organised a series of lectures and briefings for the delegation. During the visit, the delegation gave two presentations to the academy staff on the Force's Capacity Building Training and Knowledge Management.  

 

The delegation also called at one of the Regional Police Headquarters at Apeldoorn in East Netherlands to understand more about the operations of their Command and Control Centre and Custody Management. Throughout the visit, the delegation members were able to make a meaningful comparison of Crime Investigation Training and observe both the operational and training environments of the Dutch Police.
