The Formation Integrity Committee of E Department organised a comic strip dialogue design competition in October last year for promoting integrity and honesty. The competition, run under the Police Staff Motivation Scheme, attracted overwhelming support by officers of Administration Wing, Finance Wing, and Planning and Development Branch. 

 

An adjudicating panel comprising Mr Ip Man-fai, Director of Finance, Administration & Planning; Mr Tau Chung-hong, Financial Controller; Mrs Chan Wong Yan-lan, Police Civil Secretary; and Mr Cheng Kwok-hung, Chief Superintendent (Planning & Development), selected three winners and three contestants for consolation prizes, who received their awards from Mr Ip at a presentation ceremony held at Police Headquarters on December 23. 

 

The three winning dialogues have been published on electronic 2014 calendar cards distributed to staff members of E Department to raise their awareness of integrity and honesty.

 

To encourage its staff to maintain a high standard of integrity in their jobs, the E Department also held two workshops on Integrity Management in June and August last year when Senior Inspector (SIP) Eric Wong of Information Systems Wing and SIP Jane Tsang of Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch gave talks on "Information Security" and "Integrity Management & Conflict of Interest" respectively.
