Members of the Rainbow Police Volunteer Team pitched in at the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2014" held on January 19 at the Tamar Park and Lung Wo Road of the Government Headquarters, winning the praise of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGH), organiser of the event, for their tremendous assistance.

 

The event aimed at enhancing the health of people with intellectual disabilities and promoting social integration. At the conclusion, the winners received their prizes from Dr Chan Un-chan, Chairman of TWGH, Dr Lee Yuk-lun, Fifth Vice-Chairman of TWGH, Mr Lam Woon-kwong, Convenor of the Executive Council, Mr Anthony Chow, Director of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Assistant Commissioner Lee Kin-fai and other guests.

 

The TWGH also presented a trophy to the volunteer team, which was accepted by Sergeant Siu Chi-cheung.
