As one of its initiatives to engage the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC), the Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories South (NTS) teamed up with Airport District (APTDIST) to arrange a visit to Airport Police Station on January 22 for NEC students.
Airport Security Unit officers gave a briefing on their duties and a demonstration with police dogs, while RAILDIST NEC Sergeant, Shewakramani Kumar, shared his work experience with the students.
The visit is an activity under the "Project Chum-mak" (Punjabi/Urdu words meaning "shining with self-confidence") for NEC in NTS Region, which aims at helping NEC young people build up confidence for their personal and career developments and integrate with the locals.
