A delegation of 31 officers from Traffic Branch Headquarters, Central Traffic Prosecutions Division and the five regional traffic formations visited the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Detachment on February 20 and exchanged views on various traffic matters, including management, enforcement, investigation and use of modern technology.

 

Escorted by officers of the Traffic Police Detachment, the delegation members toured the Traffic Command Centre and the Shenzhen Traffic Control Centre and got a briefing on traffic enforcement strategies, road safety, handling of traffic incidents, and use of advanced technology. 

 

A forum was held, during which the delegation members exchanged views and shared experiences with leading officials from the Traffic Police Detachment. The members learned that Shenzhen uses advanced technology to monitor, control and direct traffic, ensuring smooth traffic flows on road networks. They also watched Shenzhen officers demonstrate traffic enforcement and control measures with video surveillance technology.  

 

The delegation members not only got more acquainted with traffic enforcement and control on the Mainland, but also strengthened liaison with their Mainland counterparts.
