The Head of the German Federal Police, Mr Dieter Romann, and the Vice-President of the German Federal Criminal Police (BKA), Mr Peter Henzler, paid  courtesy calls on Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung on March 4 and March 21 respectively.

 

Mr Romann led a five-member delegation to visit the Force between March 3 and 5, during which the delegation also called at Marine Regional Headquarters and met Regional Commander Winnie Chiu. The delegation later proceeded to Liaison Bureau for exchange of views on international co-operation. 

 

The BKA delegation, led by Mr Henzler, visited crime bureaux, including Narcotics Bureau, Organized Crime and Triad Bureau and Commercial Crime Bureau, between March 19 and 21, learning the structures and responsibilities of different bureaux and exchanging views on crime-related topics. 

 

The two visits reinforced the co-operation and understanding between the Force and the German Police.
