The Force is celebrating its 170th Anniversary this year and early next year with a series of events to mark the occasion and show the Force's commitment and service to the community.  

 

An exhibition will be held at the former Wan Chai Police Station at No. 123 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, at the weekends on May 31 and June 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15 with "Serving the Community Over the Centuries" as the theme. It will open to the public free of charge, from noon to 6pm on the opening day on May 31 and from 10am to 6pm at the other five weekends .

 

The exhibition will offer a good opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the history of the Force and the old Wan Chai Police Station, which was built in 1932. On display will be valuable artefacts and historical photographs.
