In support of the Commissioner's Strategic Direction 4 of "Supporting Frontline Units" and to pay recognition to frontline detectives, Kowloon East (KE) Region has organised the Best District Investigation Team (DIT) Award scheme for the third year, in which the DIT 6 of Kwun Tong District was selected as the Best DIT of KE Region, followed by the DIT 4 of Sau Mau Ping District and the DIT 6 of Wong Tai Sin District as second runners-ups.

 

In a ceremony on June 23, Regional Commander Richard Morgan presented certificates to members of the winning team for their contributions and exemplary performances.

 

Each Police District in KE nominated its best team for a selection panel chaired by the Deputy Regional Commander. In selecting its best DIT, KE adopted comprehensive criteria with focus on the quality of investigations and detective capability for assessment from March last year to February this year.
