To combat village house burglaries reported in the vicinity of Clear Water Bay Road in Tseung Kwan O, the Task Force Sub-unit of Tseung Kwan O Division (TKODIV) and Police Tactical Unit launched a joint operation on June 23.  During the operation, a high-profile patrol was carried out in the villages and clues and evidence were searched for in the foothills near the burgled village houses. 

 

In addition, the Assistant Divisional Commander (Operations), Wilson Yung, and uniformed officers of TKODIV, officers from Kowloon East Regional Crime Prevention Office and Police Community Relations Office of Kwun Tong Police District, as well as the representatives of the security companies for housing estates distributed anti-burglary flyers in the vicinity of Clear Water Bay Road and explained the crime trend and the modus operandi to villagers. Offering a series of recommendations and precautionary measures, TKODIV hopes to work closely with security companies in combating burglary.
