To mark the 40th Anniversary of the Junior Police Call (JPC), the New Territories North (NTN) Region staged a five-km Torch Run along the dam of the Plover Cove Reservoir on June 21, drawing the turnout of about 200 JPC members from Border, Tuen Mun, Tai Po and Yuen Long police districts.

 

Each police district nominated 10 torch runners for the relay run, including JPC members from primary and secondary schools. All the runners tried their best amid the cheers from their supporters and teachers. The winning teams were presented with prizes in the ceremony held after the run.
