The annual New Territories South (NTS) CID Night took place at Police Sports and Recreation Club on June 20. Addressing over 400 officers from NTS, the officiating guest, NTS Regional Commander Lau Chi-wai said, "This is an important event recognising the hard work and dedication of all our detectives over the past year."

 

In the event, NTS Region paid tribute to Tsuen Wan District Investigation Team (DIT) 6 for capturing the NTS Best DIT Award. Led by Detective Senior Inspector (DSIP) Raymond Mak Wai-man, the winning team has displayed a consistently high standard of performance, leading to many good convictions. 

 

DSIP Mak said, "Crime investigation is becoming more and more challenging these days, but the rewards are real when citizens feel safe and the bad guys pay the price for their wrongdoings. I'm pleased that our efforts have been recognised."
