At the invitation of Hong Kong Disneyland, Emergency Unit New Territories South (EU NTS) hosted a seminar for its staff on August 1, introducing EU duties and the support EU NTS will offer to Disneyland in handling emergencies. There was also a demonstration of EU equipment.

 

The seminar attracted about 100 staff members, particularly those from security, safety, fire and health services departments. EU NTS Acting Superintendent Lai Chin-keung is pleased that the seminar had provided a valuable opportunity for enhancing the communication, coordination and mutual understanding between the Force and the security management of the Disneyland.
