With a view to raising officers' sensitivity towards members of the public, the Regional Complaints Prevention Committee of New Territories South (RCPC NTS) has organised a video and poster competition featuring "If I Were You" as a theme. 

 

The contest drew a total of 13 posters and nine videos submitted by NTS officers, which were assessed by an adjudicating panel comprising three Independent Police Complaints Council members, Miss Lisa Lau Man-man, Mr Clement Tao Kwok-lau and Mr Edwin Cheng Shing-lung, and NTS Deputy Regional Commander, Chief Superintendent Lui Hon-kwok, on July 30.  Finally, the panel selected Ma On Shan Division and Lantau District as winners of the video and poster categories respectively.

 

The Chairman of RCPC NTS, Senior Superintendent Tse Sau-keung, said the winning entries would be used as training materials in NTS in order to encourage officers to put themselves in the shoes of members of the public and serve them with care and empathy.
