As part of its community engagement initiative, Railway District (RAILDIST) has recently held two poster design competitions in a bid to make passengers more aware of quick cash crimes, indecent assault and "upskirt snapshots". The competitions were open to RAILDIST officers and students of the Hong Kong Design Institute.
The competition was very successful, drawing almost 100 entries with a high quality, effectively conveying two messages to passengers: "Stay Alert" and "Report Crime".
After careful deliberation, an adjudication panel has selected the top three designs and merit prize winners. The winning designs will be used for producing posters for publicity campaigns within the railway system.
