New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office (RCPO NTN) hosted an anti-telephone deception seminar on August 27 for 70 bank staff members and money remittance agents from the Region.

 

Chief Inspector Lam Siu-fung and Senior inspector Woo Kam-yan from RCPO NTN and Tai Po District Intelligence Section Officer-in-Charge Hui Chung-hang briefed the audience on the latest crime trend and modus operandi, offered prevention advice and stressed the importance of community engagement and support for preventing crime. Mr Hui also explained the roles of the District Response Teams and the assistance police will render. NTN Senior Superintendent Chan Lok-wing thanked the audience for attending the seminar, and presented certificates of appreciation.
