Sham Shui Po District (SSPODIST) has officially formed a Non-Ethnic Chinese (NEC) Volunteer Group. In the launching ceremony on August 20, SSPODIST Commander Tam Chak-hang appointed 18 officers drawn from various units to the volunteer group.

 

The group's core services will include engaging the shops operated and frequented by NEC, paying courtesy visits to Muslim groups, and working in partnership with Non-government Organisations. The group members will seek to forge partnership with NEC communities, disseminate anti-crime messages, and assist NEC in integrating into the local community.
