In the fifth session of the Senior Leaders Exit Debriefing (SLED) Series on September 2, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Ma Wai-luk shared the valuable experiences in operational planning and management he had gained in his 37 years of service.

 

In the debriefing session hosted by Senior Superintendent Eric Cheng from the Specialised Services Training Centre of Police College, Mr Ma, with a wealth of experience and broad perspectives, analysed and discussed the current challenges facing the Force and shared his wisdom with over 40 officers at the rank of Superintendent  and above.

 

In a bid to retain and capture the valuable experiences of the Force's senior leaders, Police College launched the SLED Series last year to invite retiring directorate officers to share their "tacit knowledge". The SLED Series seeks to pass on the "Torch of Learning" and keep the sparks of knowledge-sharing glowing.

 

Mr Ma commenced his pre-retirement leave on September 17.
