The Police Force was under intense pressure and scrutiny in its actions taken against the protestors. However, I am deeply impressed by the Force’s efforts in maintaining public order, as they dealt with the activists with patience and professionalism.

I actually live in Sydney and planning to move to Hong Kong to get married with my boyfriend who is a HongKonger. The protest made me having second thought about relocating…but when I saw the photos of you doing a brilliant job under this extreme circumstance, I'm simply touched. Hong Kong Police, thank you so much for rebuilding my confidence and please be proud of yourself. It takes great courage and bravery to do what you are doing, and last but not least, please take care.

I know this letter might not mean a lot, but I just want to thank everyone in the Hong Kong Police Force for staying professional and sticking to your posts to keep our lives and properties safe and sound throughout this turmoil.
I just want to let you know that there are many, many people in Hong Kong who are 200% supportive of your effort in trying to restore order in this city.
Without your professionalism and endurance, we will lose this place that all of us have built throughout these years at the blink of the eyes.
Once again, I just want to say that we are grateful and we are indebted to all of you for being able to live in an orderly environment.
THANK YOU and please do not give up.
We have your back as you have ours.

Day in and day out, the police work round the clock to restore law and order in Hong Kong. I really appreciate the persistence and proficiency of the police in Hong Kong. As a local Hong Kong, I am glad to have such a strong team to work for us.
****************************************************************************************
DON'T DESPAIR. You have all done an excellent job and have been most professional. Your unreserved effort to serve the HK community will not be in vain. Time will tell and people will eventually wake up and learn to appreciate your value.

What I have seen is that police protecting Hong Kong citizen. No matter how bad the situation has become, you have demonstrated your commitment and strength to us.
I want you to know that I have never had any doubt in you. It is ridiculous and childish to think that police is the enemy. I salute you once again.

We are a group of Hong Kong citizens from different walks of life and backgrounds. Our political stance and views may be diverse but we are unanimous in recognition of the excellent work of our Police Force in preserving law and order in Hong Kong, rendering it one of the safest cities in the world.
We are deeply concerned that in recent years, with rising incidence of public meetings and processions, frontline police officers are frequently called upon to deal with political demonstrations, and are often confronted by unruly protesters. On numerous occasions, they were even subjected to undue abusive as well as physical attacks. Typically, the men and women of the Hong Kong Police have acquitted themselves professionally, exercising admirable restraint and forbearance in face of violent provocation. The efforts of Police are highly appreciated and strongly supported.
****************************************************************************************
Despite being thousands of miles away, we want to convey our sincere support and appreciation to Hong Kong Police for all that you've done (including taking necessary usage of force) to maintain order in Hong Kong!
Go Hong Kong! Go Hong Kong Police! Please know that there are many people like us who are behind you!
****************************************************************************************
Just want to say thank you, and to give you my personal support and well wishes! You are not alone.
****************************************************************************************
I have seen over the past 24 hours our police officers on the streets working with a high degree of professionalism and restraint when dealing with protestors who are intent on disrupting Hong Kong.
I have seen much inaccurate information on the Internet and tried through my contacts to correct some of these misconceptions both here and overseas.
I know everyone must be very busy but wanted to take the opportunity to let you know there are people outside who support our Police and I am personally also proud of their resolve and actions. My well wishes go to any colleagues who have been injured.
Hopefully through their good work Hong Kong will be able to resume its reputation as being one of the most stable and safest places in the world.

I would like to express my appreciation to the police officers, especially those on the frontline, during this difficult time. They have been patient, tolerant, and doing the best they can. It is very hard and they can get hurt.
