With a view to ensuring smooth running of the 2015 Rural Representative Election in January next year, Yuen Long District (YLDIST) has joint forces with Regional Crime Prevention Office New Territories North, Yuen Long District Office and ICAC in promulgating the concept of "Support Clean Elections". 

 

Leaflets were distributed to the public at Sap Pat Heung and Pat Heung on October 21 and November 18 respectively in a bid to make villagers more aware of prevention of election-related violence and bribery. Meanwhile, Police Community Relations Office staff visited six rural committees and briefed villagers on how to remain honest and prevent illegal conduct in the election.
