Yau Tsim District (YTDIST) and Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee (YTM DFCC), in conjunction with Mongkok District and Yau Tsim Mong District Office, held a "Yau Tsim Mong Fight Crime and Anti-drug Family Night" at the Piazza Area C of the Cultural Centre on January 24. 

 

Officiating guests included the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, Commissioner for Narcotics, Mrs Erika Hui, YTDIST Commander Kwok Pak-chung, Mongkok District Deputy District Commander Chan Joon-sun, YTM District Officer, Mrs Laura Liang Aron, YTM DFCC Chairman, Mr Chan Siu-tong, convenor of the event, Mr Yan Mau-keung, YTM District Council Chairman, Mr Chung Kong-mo, Junior Police Call (JPC) Honorary Presidents Council Chairman, Mr Cheng Po-wo, President Mr Chiu Yu-hei, and YTM No-drug Alliance President, Mr Yip Wah. Artiste Mr Wong Cho-lam was appointed "Yau Tsim Mong Fight Crime and Anti-drug Ambassador" in the event.

 

The event attracted over 1 000 spectators to enjoy a rich programme of performances by Police Band, as well as martial arts, street dance, magic show, folk dance and game booths set up by non-governmental organisations, Narcotics Division, Independent Commission Against Corruption and Yau Tsim and Mongkok JPC.
