The Director of Legislative Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Public Security, Mr Sun Maoli, visited Hong Kong between February 8 and 14 and paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung on February 11. 

 

During the meeting, Mr Sun and Mr Tsang discussed the impact of the amended Criminal Procedure Law on law enforcement in the Mainland, in the aspects of judicial procedure, collection of evidence, testimony by expert witnesses, and the technologies used in criminal investigation.

 

Mr Sun also visited other Bureaux and government departments during his stay in Hong Kong.
