Regional Commander Kowloon West (RC KW) Chung Siu-yeung took the salute as Reviewing Officer at the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol Kowloon West Region Annual Parade on March 1. Taking part in the parade were a total of 580 members of the Road Safety Patrol from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and elderly homes.

 

The parade attracted about 1 000 guests, including representatives from the police, schools, and community organisations. Sixty Senior Police Call members were also invited to attend the parade.

 

Addressing the members on parade, Mr Chung thanked the Road Safety Patrol for working together with the police in promoting road safety, and complimented Road Safety Patrol members for making a contribution to the community.  He pointed out that Traffic Kowloon West adopted a multi-agency approach for disseminating road safety knowledge to the community.
