The Chairman of the Korean National Police Commission, Mr Choi Byoung-duk, paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung whilst leading a nine-member delegation on a visit to the Force on April 23. The delegation comprised senior officials from the Commission, the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) and the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong.

 

Mr Tsang and Mr Choi reviewed the co-operation between the Force and the KNPA and exchanged views on the policing topics concerning both sides and future co-operation opportunities under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Force and the KNPA on April 13.

 

The delegation also visited the Regional Command and Control Centre of Hong Kong Island Region to look at the emergency response system of the Force.
