On April 4, officers from Tseung Kwan O Division (TKODIV) and Kwun Tong District joined the Chairperson of the Tai O Environment and Development Concern Group, Ms Ho Pui-han, in conducting a sharing session on illegally felling, as well as protection, of incense tree for the students of GT (Ellen Yeung) College and Kwun Tong Junior Police Call members in Tseung Kwan O Police Station.  After the session, the party headed for Tai Wan Tau Village to carry out a tree protection operation. The party sprayed a special paint on the tree cuts to prevent secretion of resin. At the same time, the police posted a notice at the high-risk tree-felling locations to urge villagers to alert the police if they come across any suspicious activities.
