New Territories North (NTN) Region staged a bus parade on May 17 in a bid to make the public more aware of technology crime. 

 

Shortly after NTN Regional Commander Kwok Ho-fai, the chairmen and District Fight Crime Committee members, social welfare district officers and Junior Police Call Honorary Presidents had officiated at a kick-off ceremony, the parade proceeded to various locations to distribute fliers and souvenirs, and broadcast an appeal on crime prevention.

 

Meanwhile, in addition to a crime prevention bus parade on Sundays in May, NTN Region will hold competitions on prevention of technology crime for primary and secondary schools in June, including those on bookmark design, four-grid comics design, slogan composition and computer screensaver design.
