Dear Sirs,
I was on business travel to Dalian in China and decided to take a few days on my return journey, to explore HK as I had heard a lot about the area. After a long day walking and seeing all the things HK was to offer, I took a meal in a local restaurant in Kowloon - close to one of the markets.
I got into a difficult situation when I had problems paying for a bill with a credit card. The reason why I am providing this feedback is simple ... Officer 11331, supported by his fellow officer 18673, handled the problem in an EXCEPTIONAL WAY: tactful, balanced, supportive and helped me through this situation with the restaurant staff.
For many years, I have heard that the HK Police Force is an outstanding organization - I can now say I have experienced this first hand ... both officers are a credit to your force – congratulations.
D. Berry
(Editor's note: the officers praised in this letter are PCs Chan Yat-ho and Liu King-leung, both from PSU 2 YMTDIV)
