In preparation for the World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) 2015 in the U.S. next month, 29 swimmers of the Police Swimming Team captured seven Gold, 18 Silver and 13 Bronze medals in 18 individual and relays events at the Long Course Masters Swimming Championships organised by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association on May 31.
Through participation in the Championships, Force swimmers would be able to take part in the WPFG 2015 in top form. Four male and six female swimmers are receiving intensive training in order to achieve better results.
The Annual General Meeting of the Police Swimming Club was held in the evening of the same day. The Chairman, Superintendent Ho Ka-fei, was very pleased with the Force swimmers’ performances in the Championships and encouraged them to do better in upcoming competitions.
