The Kowloon West Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony 2014, jointly organised by Kowloon West (KW) Regional Crime Prevention Office, Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC) and Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA), took place on May 28, with KW Regional Commander Chung Siu-yeung, SGSIA Chairman, Mr Cham Ka-hung, and HKAPMC President, Mr Tam Kwok-wing, officiating.

 

The Gold Award winner of the Best Security Guard this year is a Pakistani, who has assisted the police in busting six cases of burglary and theft with six suspects arrested. In fact, he was one of the Silver Award winners of the Best Security Guard in 2012 and one of the top 10 award winners of the Best Security Guard in 2013, underscoring his devotion to his job and professionalism.

 

Since 2001, the Kowloon West Best Security Services Awards scheme has been an annual event to commend security personnel who have come up with outstanding performances.
