Acting Ma On Shan (MOSDIV) Divisional Commander Angus Scott, accompanied by Task Force Sub-unit officers, called at a private housing estate's management office late last month and presented compliment letters to a Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) security guard for detecting construction site theft. 

 

Since the liaison meeting between the private housing estate management and MOSDIV in May, the private housing estate's security guards have remained vigilant to irregularities in workers' behaviour and successfully uncovered miscellaneous theft by selectively searching the bags of workers going off duty. 

 

MOSDIV also praised the security manager for preventing more construction site crimes with a comprehensive CCTV system and adequate security measures. The goodwill visit also underlined the efforts made by Sha Tin District's NEC Engagement Focus Group.
