Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) has organised a “Winling Flight 2015” project with Hong Kong Playground Association, Wong Tai Sin District School Liaison Committee and Winling Basketball Team (Hong Kong Basketball League Men’s A1 Grade Team) in a bid to instill senses of discipline and good conduct in secondary students through basketball training.
 

The project ran from March to July with four local secondary schools participating, namely SKH St. Benedict’s School, Buddhist Hung Sean Chau Memorial College, PHC Wing Kwong College and Lok Sin Tong Yu Kan Hing Secondary School. Twelve students from each school received 16 hours’ training provided by Winling Basketball players before competing for championship.
 

The “Winling Flight 2015 Closing and Presentation Ceremony” was held on July 11, in which PHC Wing Kwong College was presented with the Overall Champion Trophy, while eight students with outstanding performances were also complimented. The ceremony concluded with a friendly match between WTSDIST Basketball Team and Winling Basketball Team.
