Marine North Division (MNDIV) organised a "Sea Safety and Security Workshop 2015" for about 30 fisherman representatives on June 26. With Acting Divisional Commander Mark Williams presiding, the workshop briefed the participants on the causes of sea accidents and the ways to prevent them.

The speakers from Crime Prevention Bureau also introduced the latest security devices and the related information. The workshop also enhanced the communication between Marine Region and the fishing folk, besides raising awareness of sea safety.
