At the invitation of Madrassa Muhammadia Ghosia, Yuen Long, Deputy District Commander Yuen Long District (YLDIST), Senior Superintendent (SSP) Kerry Carew, attended the "Iftar" dinner on July 16.

Introducing the culture of Ramadan to SSP Carew, the Chairman of Madrassa Muhammadia Ghosia, Yuen Long, Mr Mohammad Amir Khan, said that according to Muslim faith, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar was known as Ramadan, during which Muslims will pray and fast intensively, refraining from eating and drinking from dawn to sunset.
