The India Association of Hong Kong presented "Outstanding Police Officer Award" to Sergeant Mark Kim-ho from Patrol Sub-unit 5 of Tsim Sha Tsui Division and Police Constable Hung Ka-wai from the Miscellaneous Enquiry Services Sub-unit of Yau Ma Tei Division for the professionalism and devotion to duty they displayed while investigating cases of Possession of Part I Poison, Resisting Arrest and Trafficking in Dangerous Drugs, as well as for serving the Non-ethnic Chinese community.
Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Wong Chi-hung, Kowloon West (KW) Regional Commander Chung Siu-yeung and Yau Tsim District Commander Kwok Pak-chung were present at the award presentation. Also present were Consul-General of India, Mr Prashant Agrawal, Secretary for Education, Mr Ng Hak-kim, and Chairman of Equal Opportunities Commission, Dr Chow Yat-ngok.
This is the ninth year in a row the association has presented the award to recognise Force members' services and contributions to the community, and their professionalism.
