With a view to enhancing Force members' professional sensitivity and understanding of the latest trend of integrity-related pitfalls, the Internal Investigations Office (IIO) has launched the "Corruption and Misconduct Prevention Bulletin (CMPB)–September 2015 Electronic Version".
Through four vivid scenarios modified from real incidents, the new CMPB aims at drawing particular attention of Force members to the serious consequences of "Undesirable Association" and "Leakage of Police Confidential Information". Supervisory officers are encouraged to make use of these scenarios to remind their subordinates of the parameters of behaviour within which Force members are expected to conduct themselves both on and off duty so that they would be capable of making a correct judgment when they encounter integrity-related pitfalls.
Officers may view the new CMPB through Ethics Corner in POINT. Those having suggestions about the new CMPB may contact CIP (NT IIO) Kong Wing-cheung at 2860-2659 or email to cip-nt-iio@police.gov.hk.
