Officers of the District Anti-triad Section of Yuen Long District (DATS YLDIST) hosted seminars with the theme of "Headwind" in secondary schools over the past few months to remind students to steer clear of juvenile delinquency.

The concept of "Headwind" is to call on the students not to succumb to illegal demands and manipulation by gangsters and to seek assistance at the easiest opportunities.

At the seminars, DATS officers introduced the trend of juvenile crimes and triad related cases, including drugs trafficking and unlawful assembly, with slides and videos. They also highlighted the police's determination to combat, and the consequences of committing, such crimes.

The officers succeeded in bringing their messages home to the students and earning positive feedback from the schools.
