In a bid to foster communication with the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community, Tai Po District (TPDIST) played host to Mr Tarig Saeed from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Hong Kong and other members of the community during a tour of Tai Po Police Station on August 28.

Welcoming the guests, TPDIST Commander Patrick Laidler said the police are committed to forging a close relationship with the community on the base of mutual understanding, trust and respect. Both parties undertook to have more interaction in the near future.

Officers also gave briefings on a range of police jobs and introduced TPDIST's new "NEC Corner" which provides government and police information in different languages.
