Upon invitation of the Office of the Exchange Students of Lingnan University, Police Community Relations Office of Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) organised a "Get to Know the Laws of Hong Kong" seminar on August 20. The seminar, conducted by Inspector Poon Chung-kei, Commander of Patrol Sub-unit 3 of Tuen Mun Division, attracted about 200 exchange students from different countries.

The seminar was tailor-made to cater for the needs of the exchange students who came from countries with different legal systems and cultures. The seminar aimed to help them adapt to the way of life, laws and lifestyles of Hong Kong with talks on Immigration Ordinance, road safety, Smoking Ordinance and technology crime.

Inspector Poon also showed video clips to underline the importance of understanding the Laws of Hong Kong and answered many questions from the students.
