The manager of a construction company called at Tai Po Police Station on September 2 and thanked officers for apprehending three suspects who had blackmailed the company for $200,000.

As a token of his company's appreciation of officers' efforts and professionalism, the manager presented pennants to Tai Po District (TPDIST) Commander Patrick Laidler, Assistant District Commander (Crime) Li Kwai-wah, Acting Chief Inspector (Crime) Wan Kai-ming and Inspector Tai Yuk-lun from District Anti-triad Section Team 2.
