The Force held a presentation ceremony for the awardees of the Civil Service Outstanding Service Award Scheme (CSA) 2015 at Police Headquarters on September 30 with Commissioner Lo Wai-chung as officiating guest.

The Force has clinched 13 awards in the CSA 2015, comprising three gold, three silver, two bronze, two meritorious awards and three special citation awards. Mr Lo presented the awards to the winning formations and teams, and encouraged Force members to strive for professionalism and provide quality services.

Mr Lo also shared his views of the importance of using social media for communication with the public, particularly youngsters. He called on officers to browse and assist in promoting the Hong Kong Police Facebook page.

Mr Lo went on to stress that co-operation and support from the community are vital for maintaining law and order. The Force had vowed to "Serve with Pride and Care" and enhance communication and partnership with all sectors of the community, he noted.
